My 7 Favorite Cafes in Penang

These are some of my favorite cafes…(note:the cafes  are listed from my most favorite)(another note:people did not pay me to put them on the list)

1.THE COFFEE ADDICT

The Coffee Addict is  a cafe  in Nagore  square that is tucked in a corner and hard to notice. This may be a problem because it would be tiring  walking around Nagore square looking for it. inside the Coffee Addict they have lots of decorations  like the map of the world on the wall made of bricks as well as a shelf of  cook books. They serve delicious, huge peanut-butter-and-banana sandwich with cereal  flakes and  little home-made goldfish crackers with coffee.

2. PRRRFECT PENANG CAT CAFE

As the name seems to suggest  Prrrfect  Penang cat cafe has lots of cats!Along with there yummy mango smoothies they have big bags of cat food but the bags are very limited so you have to come at the right time! Also, the cats like your food so watch out. They have both games and puzzles for humans and cat toys for cats. This is one good cafe!

3.BLACK KETTLE

The Black Kettle is a nice cafe right in the middle of town. You can chose between the menu or the pastries that you will see as you walk in.bBut get there early  for breakfast because hours are limited! The black kettle space is very nice and cozy.

4.CHAPEL STREET CAFE

Chapel Street Cafe probably  has some of the nicest workers of any cafe i’v been to  they even gave me lollipops! It has 3 different rooms:2 for sitting and 1 for ordering. It also serves crazy, yummy dinosaur sandwiches

5.D’FAT MONA LISA

D’Fat Mona Lisa  is a nice, big cafe with a pretty interior.Did you know it used to be a mansion? It has yummy food but is a little expensive. All in all it is a good cafe.

6.COFFEE ON THE TABLE

Coffee on the Table has really good 3-d  coffee art and good, big, breakfast. It is a nice, cozy, pretty space that makes you feel welcome. The only bad is there music which is really  annoying. It’s a nice cafe.

7.CHINA HOUSE

China House is a nice cafe that even has drawing paper!it also has soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many cakes! The only downside is that it’s expensive.

  1. Will you take me to a cafe when we are in Penang together. I think the Black Kettle or D’Fat Mona Lisa would be best for me. Am I right? What is a dinoaur sandwich? Maybe I have to go find out. I do love peanut butter and banana,..

  2. This is a very good review of Penang cafes Petra. My favourite is ‘coffee on the table’. I like the sound of the Chapel Street Cafe so I must try that after reading your review.
